My husband painted this for me when I was in my *pear* phase.
I call it: Green Pear with Blue Hue
Isn't it pretty?
Updated for clarification: My pear phase was when I really enjoyed looking at pears, not looking like a pear! Ha!

Lovely! And hey, I like the pears, too - perhaps the trees even better (my favorite in our yard in Chicago), but the fruit has an elegance...
Besides, anything with that affinity for blue cheeses and chocolate has to be special!

I "heart" pears too, esp. with cheese. But in any case, that is a really beautiful painting. Alas, the closest my darling man gets to visual art is his daily output of blueprints and plots. *sigh* Lucky you.

You're lucky,my husband only likes to do art of nude women. You have no idea how difficult it is to deal with this....

Yes my girlfriend also loves to draw nude women, she never comes home she just loves to draw them!
