Shakesville's posting pics wondering “What the hell?!” about their old photographed selves.
What the hell is with that hair? That rainbow thing? What the hell was I thinking?!
Here’s one of me where I’ll tell you what the hell I was thinking.
1968. I was four, visiting my cousin. He was making me cassette tapes of every single solitary 1950s song.
My mom said we had to leave. But he wasn’t done! I wouldn’t budge off that bench till I got my tapes.
Did I ever get them? No. They’re now in my dad’s basement somewhere in Texas.
What the hell?!?!

It looks like you're thinking "where is the ice cream?"

I think you were upset that they wouldn't let you wear shoes, which explains your shoe fetish today...
I think I had that dress...

I think what the hell when I see pictures of myself from now.
I don't know of too many around from the 60s...and as for the 70s, all I can say is you had to be there.

"I want my Maypo!"
Don't know if you're too young, BG, but the old cereal commercial with the above catch phrase popped into my head IMMEDIATELY. (Google the phrase, the add still exists.)It was probably the genesis for what later became, "I want my MTV!"

"Noone lives where they grew up anymore."
Somebody Irish said that in a novel I read recently. But you do. Live where you grew up, I mean. And what a privilege it is for all of us who follow along in your cybersteps.
