Saw that too, B.G., and got just as pissed. Such a brilliant summary (as usual) with so many delicious lines, such beautiful imagery and this is what these petty f--ks have to comment on? Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees... I'm surprised these idiots even had the brains to go his site in the first place.
"Upside the head" with a club!!!

Did you see Joan whack her dopey husband in the head with that flower vase?
CRACK!
A flower vase upside the head!

Saw that too, and that's what I'd like to see Blue Girl do to those commenters. (But not with one of your new vases... or the Ming!)

So, Beege, are we to assume that you still don't like Mad Men, but you like reading Jim Wolcott's reviews of Mad Men?
I actually really got into watching season two on DVD, but now I don't get the channel any more on my cheapo basic cable so I gotta wait for the DVDs again!
I'm with Wolcott, though -- my favorite character is hapless embittered Pete. I keep waiting for him to take some psychiatrist-prescribed LSD (the kind Cary Grant took -- the good stuff!), and then "cut off the soles from my shoes and learn to play the flute"!

I only kept watching Mad Men this year because of Wolcott's reviews. But then, about four episodes ago, I started to actually like the show.
I'm a Joan and Roger girl myself.

And where do I find this Eff-book? lol
That's a good question. I don't know any more about Eff-book than I do about tweeter, or whatever it is.

Speaking of finding things, what happened to my gravy-tar?
Now I'm just another spirograph!
Typepad messes with me more than spiders mess with Jennifer.
