The Skimmer is in the process of redesigning my blog. Have you noticed? There are other graphics that I need to add but Typepad won't let me.
Stupid Typepad!
It couldn't possibly be user error. Pshaw!
So, consider the state of this blog's redesign as being a work in progress.
Thank you in advance for your patience in this matter.
*wink*
Also, why do things look gigantic in Firefox?
Stupid Firefox!

well, I like the look of it so far.

Love the look!!!! You look Cute!

Love the new banner. Gonna miss the ol' Blue Girl half-face, though. At least (maybe) it will still be your Gravatar...
Unable to comment in Firefox, but graphics look the same to me in IE. You might have images zoomed in your Firefox.

I dig it. Love how the BG on the right forms a pencil.
Posted by: Brando | March 10, 2010 at 02:59 PM
GOOD FOR BRANDO! He wins a cookie :-)
Posted by: Skimmer | March 10, 2010 at 03:07 PM
I was just going to say the same thing as Brando! Get out of my head!
Posted by: Jennifer | March 10, 2010 at 03:12 PM
Also, I've found I'm in a constant state of aggravation with TypePad. I wouldn't know what to do otherwise.
Posted by: Jennifer | March 10, 2010 at 03:13 PM
Ahhhh!! I LOVE IT!!!
So flashy and sassy, yet smart!!!
jealous!!
Posted by: Von | March 10, 2010 at 03:48 PM
I would have said the pencil thing before Brando and Jennifer. See my comment way up there? TOTALLY before theirs.
I didn't know there was a cookie involved. Nobody said anything about cookies.
Brando and Jennifer gotz no game on the zombie though. Pshaw.

Do I Love It? "You, Betcha!" Wink!
Posted by: yaya | March 10, 2010 at 04:48 PM
If only Typepad had ESP, ZRM. But since it doesn't, I will enjoy my COOKIE OF VICTORY!!!
It also helps that I work with graphic designers, so I know that noticing things like this makes their day, because usually clients are asking why the cute cartoon woman has no feet.
Posted by: Brando | March 10, 2010 at 04:57 PM
"...because usually clients are asking why the cute cartoon woman has no feet."
LOL! So true. So true.
The Emmy, The Oscar, The Olympic Gold Medal. Small trinkets compared to the COOKIE OF VICTORY.
Posted by: Skimmer | March 10, 2010 at 05:13 PM
..Unless it's one of BG's unnaturally colored petroleum based cookies.
The little end zone dance is unbecoming, Brando. Where's the dignity?
Posted by: zombie rotten mcdonald | March 10, 2010 at 05:15 PM
I score so few TDs that I can't resist spiking the ball when I do.
Posted by: Brando | March 10, 2010 at 05:46 PM
Unless it's one of BG's unnaturally colored petroleum based cookies.
Ah, shoot. ZRM beat me to it. But, think about it, people!
It was the COOKIE OF VICTORY once and it will....be the COOKIE OF VICTORY again.
Say it like Crazy Joe Davola.
Also: because usually clients are asking why the cute cartoon woman has no feet.
Say it, brutha!

But you didn't... did you... did you forget to pencil it in? Did fish already steal it?
Pffft.

Thanks, everyone, for liking The Skimmer's design and saying so! He did a great job. Thank you, Skimmer.
And now I've got to get him to do about 4 or 5 more... Wa-cchhh, wa-chhhh! (whip sound)
Sorry. Just being a typical client.
I need 'em fast! And I need 'em cheap!
Posted by: blue girl | March 10, 2010 at 06:41 PM
But you didn't... did you... did you forget to pencil it in?
BUT IT WAS SO OBVIOUS. Too obvious, sez I.
Besides - and I TOTALLY didn't want to mention this, but YOU ALL FORCE ME TO.
Does BG use a pencil on her computer? A Pencil? On a blog. It doesn't make sense. It's like a Wookie on Endor. It doesn't make sense
It hurt me to point that out.

Don't we all??
Posted by: Jennifer | March 10, 2010 at 07:08 PM
Actually, I think it's her eyeliner pencil. Although, how she applies it from that angle...

This makes me want to abandon (free) blogspot.wrong and pay for typingpad.aggravation totally.
As in totally not!

why is a pencil winking at me? i am SO confused!
Posted by: almostinfamous | March 10, 2010 at 11:34 PM
You've all had a lot of fun here while I've been at work, in an office where they block TypePad, Blogger, Wordpress and (horrors!) YouTube, an office where I am essentially cut off from civilization. But I'm back now and I'd like to point out that I am the only one who actually tried to address BG's issue with gigantic graphics in Firefox. I'm not saying I actually helped, but I tried, while the rest of you were just flippant.
So how about a cookie?
PS: I can no longer comment using Firefox. I know you hate Firefox, BG, but it's the browser I use. Do I have to use a seperate browser just for your blog?
Posted by: Larry Jones | March 11, 2010 at 12:08 AM
Larry, just join the rest of us in unemployment, and all those issues go away.
BG's issues with Firefox are personal, I suspect, and need to be resolved through Charles Bronson.
Posted by: zombie rotten mcdonald | March 11, 2010 at 12:29 AM
Or Chuck Norris. Don't make me call Chuck Norris.
Posted by: Larry Jones | March 11, 2010 at 09:18 PM
Just interesting when people dismiss it as "concert photography," but I saw much more at play.
