Oh, a beautiful spring day in January. Rolling clouds across the sky, one a large fat rabbit. Long ears, button nose. Cute cloud button nose. It was windy and the streets were wet with rain, and the birds were chirping in confusion. And so was I. Dampness got into my head and into my back and into my eyes. Spring overcame me inside of me too suddenly. I was all crinked up, popping Advil all day long.
It was a beautiful day. And it’s a warm evening. And I need to go to bed. This day has worn me out.

We've got to get a tree by the house in W.V. cut down.
Ideally, before the sap comes back up...so it can be used for firewood without drying for ever and ever.

last year, these early warm spells fooled the cherry trees in Door County into blooming early, then froze the buds. I believe the cherry crops were about half what they usually are.
And yet, there is an idiot over at the Political Environment, crowing about how lovely these warm winter days are.

I had to cancel a meeting last Fri b/c of a monster snow storm. I had to cancel a meeting today b/c of tornado warnings!
